Getting Started
What is Loops?
Loops lets you add custom functionality to your Webflow site by simply describing what you want in a conversation with Claude.
You say things like:
“Add staggered fade-in animations to the portfolio grid” “Pull in the latest posts from my blog API and display them in the news section” “Show different pricing based on the visitor’s country”
And Claude builds it, pushes it to your staging site, checks that it works, and tells you when it’s ready. You never open a code editor. You never write a line of code.
Who is it for?
Loops is made for Webflow designers who want to go beyond what Webflow can do natively — without hiring a developer or learning JavaScript.
Things you can ask for:
- Scroll-triggered animations (fade-ins, parallax, counters)
- Dynamic filtering on CMS collection lists
- Custom form validation with friendly error messages
- Data fetching from external APIs (weather, stock prices, blog feeds, anything)
- Conditional content based on time, location, URL parameters, or user behavior
- DOM manipulation, dynamic configuration, custom cursors, hover effects
- Anything that needs custom JavaScript on your site
How does it work?
It’s a conversation between you and Claude:
- You tell Claude what Webflow site you’re working on
- Claude sets things up and gives you a couple of snippets to paste in Webflow
- You describe what you want — in plain English
- Claude builds it, pushes it to your staging site, and verifies it’s working
- You check your staging site — if you want changes, just say so
- When you’re happy, publish to production
The key thing: Claude handles all the technical parts. You just have the creative conversation.
What do I need?
- A Webflow site (any plan)
- Claude — the AI assistant that handles everything for you
